Out/Come, n. a Crown Roots student's path out into the world, and their path back into the community they come from.
Out/Come is the private home for Crown Roots students. If you were invited, this is yours.
Sign in Not a Crown Roots student? Start with In/Root.Out/Come is not open to the public, and that is on purpose. Every account starts with a conversation. A Crown Roots staff member sits down with a student and their family, listens, and builds a plan around that one student. What you find inside was put together for you.
The steps for this year, and what comes next.
Schools our team has reviewed for you, with what your family would really pay.
Ones you are eligible for, already checked.
Your academic snapshot, all in one place.
A place to write your essays and get feedback from your advisor.
FAFSA help, free test prep, test dates, and deadlines.
So nothing sneaks up on you.
Notes from your advisor on how far you have come.
Out/Come holds real information about real students: grades, goals, and family circumstances. Only you and Crown Roots staff can see your account.
Your Crown Roots advisor will give you a sign-up link. Create your account, and your advisor takes it from there. If you can't find your link, ask your advisor.
For partners and supporters, here is what happens on the staff side.
A staff member walks through a structured intake with the student: grades, interests, household situation, and goals. Nothing is filled out alone.
Each student gets a high school pathway and a progress tracker, so everyone can see what has been done and what comes next.
The system matches each student to affordable colleges and scholarships they are eligible for, along with test prep dates and deadlines.
Our team reviews every match before a student sees it. Students do not browse raw data. They see a short list that has been checked and explained.
